Dear Folks,
I was not sure where to post this. so I posted it in the cellar. My question is does any one know who might sell logwood dyed thread? There was one sutler who did but, it's not his page any more. Thanks

John,

You wouldn't happen to have a item number for N&T's logwood thread. All their site shows is linen thread in gray, blue, green, ocher, etc. No mention of logwood.

Well, I was being fecetious (spelling). You might try calling them. They may have it, but don't advertise it for whatever reason. I just hate it when someone just blindly tells a new guy to check out so and so's website, when the information is not on it. Just my $.02.

Hence the reason I specifically (not blindly) linked to the contact page with the phone number. I don't know how much more help I could be ... but forget it, I won't help anymore.

Picking up the phone and making an inquiry has become a chore, I guess...but, yes, N&T has the stuff. I believe they're simply an outlet for Charlie's thread; I've ordered direct from him and bought it off the shelf from N&T, and they're the same things.

Pat Kline at FHW would sometimes sell cones of a logwood cotton thread, but as his life no longer revolves around us (what a concept!) you may not have any luck finding his, but it's worth the inquiry. Observe: http://www.familyheirloomweavers.com/cat/contactus.html
