Ofiicers haversacks For Sale

I have 2 officers haversacks for sale. One is confederate and one is Federal. They are made of Leather and in unused condition. I am asking 125.00 each for them and i will pay the shipping. Take a look at the pictures and get back to me.

Which is which? Are these based on originals? The second one seems to have a pocket on the outside. Are there additional pockets on the inside of the other one?

well picture 472 is federal and pic 473 is confederate. YES they are based on orginals. the federal one is based on the one pictured in Lords Civil War Collectors Encyclopedia, Volume I, page 120. It is 12'' wide, and 11 1/2" deep, with a 3" gusset. The confederate is a reproduction of an original owned by Lt. William A.B. Branch, ANV and it is 13½" wide by 9½" tall with a 2½" gusset.

the federal has a pocket on the outside of the outer flap and one big pouch that the outer flap is covering. the confederate has just the inter pouch that the flap is covering. i will post pics here .
