The Superior Rifles need some help. We are in the midst of organizing a unit here in the north, and are a little short on man power. We believe in organizing slowly and properly. I would like to extend an invitation for progressive units, or individual reenactors to register for this event.
I was recently asked by Mr. Tom Friggens of the Michigan Department of History, Arts, and Libraries if we could help them with an candle-light interpretive program at the fort. The State is very short on funding and there is little money for providing such programs. I agreed to do all I could to make sure that the Fort had some quality men, and women if possible, to recreate garrison life for 43rd US (VRC) of 1867, in Copper Harbor Michigan.
