Newb in Nashville

hi!

Im in the Murfreesboro TN area and am looking for a local (or semi-local) unit that can help a newb break into the hobby. I've visited Blockade Runner in Bell Buckle, and realize that I really need to know what i'm doing before I make that investment, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Either Federal or Confederate impression - i'm not picky.

This is Steve Cameron. I am with Burrough's Battery. We are in the Knoxville TN area. We attend events in the southeast. We are family oriented, portray CS and US horse drawn artillery. We participate in Living histories, reenactments and live fire competitions. We shoot smooth bore and rifled artillery and mortars. We have 6 Piece, 5 of which are bronze.
