Beautiful three-piece Civil War gown made of cotton with a lovely black base and red floral print including roses and thistles. Worn only once and hand sown by an excellent seamstress. No raw edges.
Bodice: Sabrina neckline, with black lace and trimming. Black zipper closure down the back, which is covered and undetectable. Bodice contains boning and is lined in black fabric.
Measurements of Bodice:
Shoulder to Shoulder—17 inches
Bust—38 inches
Waist—32 inches
Skirt: both a slip and skirt are included. Slip in black cotton, trimmed with material at the bottom that matches the skirt. Waist is elastic and 28 inches. Length is 42 inches. Skirt is pleated and has a hook and eye closure on the side.
Measurements of the Skirt:
Length from waist to floor—43 inches
Waist—30 inches
Circumference—110 inches
5 inch hem which could be let out
The measurements provided would give a snug fit, but could be worn by someone with a slightly smaller frame. Included is a piece of fabric (approximately 54 inches x 27 inches) that is identical to the bodice and skirt.
