Although not in Tampa, we have members from all over the state. You can find us at http://extlab7.entnem.ufl.edu/civilwar/

Feel free to drop me or one of our officers a note.

Welcome to the hobby, We have some men in our unit from Florida, more east coast gents in the Titusville area. How long have you lived in Zephyrhills?
I grew up there myself and graduated a Bulldog.

Welcome to reenacting in FL.

I would suggest visiting Florida reenactors online:
http://www.floridareenactorsonline.com/

Im figuring by your name that your looking for a confederate unit. I would suggest the 7th FL Company K: http://www.angelfire.com/fl3/7thFloridaCoK/index.html
They are based out of the Brooksville area that isn't a far drive from Zeph Hill

Myself I belong to the 17th Connecticut Co. H. We are based out of Brooksville but we have members in New Port Richy and Orlando as well. If your interested visit:
http://www.17thconn.com/

Hope that helps,

The 69th NC Infantry is in that area. Send me an email at nc69th@yahoo.com and i'll put you in touch with the commanding officer down their. We up in SC are also called the 69th NC considering we are in the same Battalion. They are Co A and we are Co B.
