The few Mormons I've met were pretty nice. We agreed the Mountain Meadows Massacre was bad.

Somehow I don't think with the "two young lovers-to-be" that there will be enough time to properly show all the events that lead up to Mountain Meadows, and why the Church and it's membership were so weary of the travelers from Arkansas and Missouri. There's always two sides to any story, and unfortunately neither side is pretty or proper. It was a time during which the Church is not particularly proud.
