The weekend of April 14-15, 2007, the Ohio Village Muffins will be taking part in the Salisbury Prison Symposium with exhibitions of period base ball. One of the highlights of the weekend will be the recreation on the field of the 1862 Otto Boetticher lithograph of "Union Prisoners at Salisbury, N.C." If any Federals in the area would like to appear as some of the "background color" for the image, please contact Dr. James Tootle at jtootle@ columbus.rr.com . Those wishing to participate should be at the field no later than 4:30 on April 14th. The site will be at the corner of E. Bank and S. Shaver Streets (shaver Street will be closed to traffic for the game). Opening ceremonies and the staging of the image will be start at 5:30 and the demonstration game will be at 5:45. Please refer to the attached image for what the event organizers are looking for. Player's slots are already filled.
