McDowell Registration closes April 20, 2007

Folks,

All those interested in attending the 2007 McDowell Event should be aware that registration will close on April 20, 2007. Although we will accept registrations from members of invited units after this time; we will not be able to guarantee rations issue to anyone who has not registered by the cut-off.

Absolutely, lot easier moving around mounted than marching.....even with that steep ascent!

Stumpy is coming, and going blue......needs to be used as a bugler......

Actually we'll eschew the horses for the final leg of the climb on Sunday. Just too little flat and too much very steep, especially for relative novice riders like me who are still taking an inordinate amount of joy in just being able to do basic things like make the horse turn with leg pressure rather than the reins. :-)
