Gents,

Since we will be spending most of Saturday on the march at the Down the Valley Event, June 15-17, 2007, we will be eating on the go.

To help folks out who have not done this in some time, we have posted Haversack 101 on the web page for each side.

All military will be out of camp for about 6 hours and eating lunch down by Cedar Creek proper.

Don't forget the registration deadline of April 6th!

Haversack 101!?! Sounds more like a remedial course to me.

You mean we should put food in that thing and not just our camera, keys, and cell phones? Well, gaoolllllleeeeeee!

And we might try cooking bacon in the dark.

Go to the DTV event web site, and then click on either Federal or Confederate.

There are a list of items on the left hand side of the screen, it is the last one- Haversack 101

The Down the Valley web site is on my signature line

I did that, and the only content that appeared was the following message:

Didn't see an article. Has the haversack article been deemed too remedial and been pulled already?

The remedial level course is called "Haversacks for Dummies." Cooking bacon in the dark is Haversack 201 and will be taught by Mike Murley .... (Just a joke, folks.)

It just worked for me, sorry, have no explanation why it is not working for you.

Might want to try again.

The link works fine. Now, if I could only read... ;) How much water do you need to properly boil a mummy in the dark? Ba Da Bum.

I always believed that course was taught, post-A2003, by Dane Utter and the late Don Hubbard. ;)
