For your consideration: I am now making Private purchase Civil War era Identification disks. These are 7/8" in diameter and made of brass. These are nearly identical to originals that I've seen. I will stamp by hand any information you like on the back, and can put a year on the fron under the eagle, or leave it as is. Comes with a small steel ring to attach to a knecklace or leather tie.
