I've just recently joined a very good group here in the Asheville area. I don't know if this is too much of a travel issue for you but I thought I'd at least let you know about us. The unit is primarily CS as the 25th but does also portray the 14th Iowa US with some civilian impressions as well. We attend events here in WNC, TN and GA. Here is a link to our site for you to have a look at: http://www.25thnctroops.org/index.html
Good luck in your search and hope to see you in the field some day.

We are located in East Tennessee, our unit is Burrough's Battery. I live in Rutledge, and we have members from here to the Tri-cities. We do CS and US artillery. We do horse drawn artillery. We have bronze guns, we do reenactments, living histories and live fire competitions with the guns. We need cannoneers, drivers and can use more civilians. Email me with your name and address and I will mail you a packet of information with a schedule, unit history, pictures etc.
