Sir,
Your top two responses here will most likely be Missouri Boot and Shoe and Robert Land. If your a hard to fit soul then I recommend Missouri Boot and Shoe. Several measurements and a tracing of your feet are required to make a purchase for shoes, this way fit is not a problem. Good quality shoes at a good price.
I know Robert Land has most of his shoes and boots in a size EEE, if you need wider, contact him and ask he may be able to help.

I highly recommend Mattimore Harness. Tom Mattimore does outstanding work, his prices are reasonable, and the shoes are some of the most comfortable I've worn in reenacting. After I placed my order, Tom called me on his dime to get measurements, since I have wide feet, too.

My experience with Mattimore shoes is that the soles wear out VERY quickly.
I'm not the only one that noticed this either.
His shoes are very nice, but I would strongly suggest having them hobnailed..
Just my $0.02.......

To add my 2 cents, I have a pair of the federal issue booties from the skillet licker. They are incredibly comfortable and are going very strong after over 2 years of heavy use. They also look more like the booties in period photos that i have seen compaired to some other repros I have seen.

I have EEE feet with a narrow heel. I got a pair of MJN fed brogans and they are the most comfortable I've ever owned. Love 'em!

My nod goes to Missouri Boot & Shoe.
The custom make the shoe to fit your feet.
The pair I have now is the most comfortable pair of brogans I've had.

I just wore my MB&S Jefferson Booties for the first time at a living history today. Two thumbs up--WAY UP--they were very comfortable from the get go and I was on my feet all day.
Best wishes,

I would have to agree with this. I purchased my federal issue booties from the Jersey skillet licker two years ago, I have not had one problem with them at all. They are comfertable, and are a very good copy of the originals.
Also the customer service was great and shipped out very fast i got them in three days.

I would have to put in a plug for Robert Land. I have a pair of his brogans and I love them. They look fantastic and feel great. They are the lowest cost out of the 3 makers mentioned. I have seen Chase's brogans too and so you may want to go down that road, but I will say Robert Land has my pick.
