Please excuse the completely off topic post but I don't know where else to put this request.

I'm looking for a masonry contractor to do a small and simple project at a historic site in Maryland. This project is being done for a Civil War monument.

The project will be paid for, we expect nothing to be done for free. We will accept no donations.

Any mason interested in doing this job please contact me off the board at

Sorry to have to ask, but would this be for stone or brickwork - we had an outstanding guy do the brickwork on our house when we remodeled but I won't waste your time or his if you need a stone mason.

A good mason just did extensive work on our house in DC, including brick walks, brick walls, stone patios, and stone steps, some real detail work in addition to some more generic concrete work. Second generation Italian-American, trained by his father. I can provide his number, if you are interested.
