I know this might sound like a crazy question but are there any Union units (that just do Union--not galvanize) in Georgia? My husband and I might be getting stationed in GA this summer. Any websites of units that you could point us in the direction of would greatly be appreciated. I've been doing Civil War reenacting for six years and my husband is an experienced reenactor (though he is just venturing into Civil War).
Thanks!

Stacey

Hey there and Welcome,

Here's another option if you are more interested in a progressive/campaigner type unit http://www.geocities.com/saltriverrifles/

Good luck,

Thank you gentlemen for your suggestions. I have been searching on the Internet and had been unable to come up with any units in that area so I most appreciate your assistance. I shall look into the units that you recommended. I was a CW reenactor in Pennsylvania until Uncle Sam sent us here to Germany for three years..now we shall be returning to the States to either Georgia or Texas it looks like.

You may want to try the 1st Alabama in north east Al. They are a good bunch of folks. http://www.1stalabamacavalryusv.com/
