All,
The 4th annual Battle for Columbia will be held February 17-18 just south of Columbia, SC.
Reenactors will receive the usual amenitites of port-a-lets, straw and firewood. A southern style barbeque dinner including your choice of libation will be catered on Saturday evening by Maurice's Gourmet Barbeque. The meal cost is a mere $5. There is NO registration fee.
We are paying bounties for Federal guns and infantry. Fed infantry units may want to participate in the first ever reenactment of the surrender of Columbia while in town. Confederate units may want to galvanize for the weekend to take part in the surrender and pick up a $100 bounty to boot. Info on the surrender may be found on this board under this post:

There will be a ball held in town Friday night in the historic Columbia Mills building, which houses the State Museum and The South Carolina Confederate Relic Room and Museum. RSVP is required. Cost is $10 per person or $15 per couple.
