Dear Fellers,
Chicago is a city that boasts 16 inch softball. Required are a bat, a 16 inch softball and players. Reenacting used to be like that. No coaches, parents, organization, pedants, academia, agendas, crusades, commercial endorsements, titles, subsidies, leagues, you name it. Simple. I think that is what has changed. Much of what has evolved is better (no M-1s or Sears work uniforms), but with sophistication comes another set of problems. People are better educated, more connected and demand more.
All for the old flag,
David Corbett
