21st Annual Licking County Civil War Reenactment

Hello All!

The annual reenactment at Infirmary Mound Park, three miles south of Columbus on SR 37 will be held June 23-24, 2007.

Weekend highlights include:

Scripted Saturday and Sunday battles and Tactical on Sunday on the pristine anachronism free fields of Infirmary Mound Park.
Period church services
Civilian workshops, programs and activities
Military programs and activities
Dance
Bounties to first five pre-registered artillery pieces and first ten cavalry mounts.
Artillery is limited to the first five union and confederates due to space.
Usual amenities plus two hearty homemade meals (no soup beans here my friends!)

Modern (no hook ups sorry!), and authentic camping separated into: Family, Military, Civilian and Campaign.

Registration is $7.00 before June 8th. After, it goes up to $10.

I have been to this event and it is a good one. I was telling a friend about it and we do need more yankees and some confederates here. The tactical is a good time and they feed you well, Ladies the ball is great and they have other good programs during the day as well. They do have campaigning camping area and the cavalry area is also a campaigning area as well. I had a good time.

I know some of you guys from the 30th OVI go.
