I found this book, "The Big Oyster", a good read and would recommend it. I have read several of Mark Kurlansky's books and know I can always pick up one of his books and enjoy it. His 'themed' books, "Salt", "Cod", etc., are a 'entertaining history', educational and fun to read.

This is an informative review of the book. Thank you for sharing it.
