Yoke for petticoat?

Good day to All
I am looking for a pattern for a yoke for the top of my wool petticoat.
Does anyone have any experience with the petticoat patterns now available? I have looked at the Great Pattern review but nothing has
been critiqued involving petticoat yokes.

Not every wool petticoat is made with a yoke. On those that do have them, the yoke is simply a rectangular strip of a tightly-woven cotton. It may be the same width as the wool portion of the petticoat, in which the two pieces are seamed together flat. Or it may be slightly narrower in width than the wool portion of the petticoat, in which case the wool is usually pleated to fit the yoke. In either case, the yoke is then gathered into the waistband.

Petticoats with a shaped yoke that is fitted smoothly over the upper hips are usually post-war.
