We are the 6th Texas Infantry, Co K "The Alamo Rifles", a group of over 50 men dedicated to honor, remember, and represent soldiers of this nation's greatest
conflict. We are a Confederate Army of Tennessee reenacting group, with a primary impression of a mid-war Western confederate company. Our secondary confederate impression is a Trans-Mississippi early to mid-war unit, and when appropiate, we utilize
grey and red battle shirts as a militia company. Members so inclined galvanize when needed for a federal impression as the 165th New York Infantry, a zouave unit.
Our active members reside generally in the central and south Texas area. We perform
reenactments, living history events, Civil War school programs, parades, and Veteran
