Hi All,

Was thinkin' about running a stripe up the leg of my arty trousers (I an NCO now!) and suddenly realized I haven't looked at these close enough to know where they go exactly. My current reb trousers have mule ear pockets. Wow! Does the tripe run up the edge of the flap? My Yankee trousers have the straight pocket. does it run up the edge of the pocket? Does the stripe straddle the leg seam or run in front of it? Or, run behind the seam and miss the pocket altogether?

Just leave them off. It is overdone, anyway.

I think there are also some good examples in the US "Echoes...", including how some folks attached the stripe to "mule ear" trousers.

Good luck!

Mowing close are we, may want to wait until its required for a Unit or Battle. Once the uniform requirements are posted for the event, I'm sure that attention to detail will be noted. Being Artillery myself I can understand you want to get it right. May save you some time. Using a seam ripper isn't my idea of fun.
