Missouri Civil War flags preserved - see online.

Missourians were very involved in the war on both sides and numerous units raised for both sides. The state museum has a large collection of flags, mostly Federal since they tended to survive the war better, and have been working to preserve them over the last several years. Thanks for sharing! This is a really neat site and well worth looking at. It was really neat to be able to see the Missouri Brigade Flag that was captured at Franklin. I have been curious about it ever since reading about that particular flag in the book, In Deadly Earnest.
