View Full Version : We're raising a company of "Suckers" for Shiloh
Seth Graves (sethgraves5@hotmail.com), the Black Jack Mess, and myself, Tim Ruyle (truyle2305@hotmail.com), are raising a Federal Infantry Company for the 150th Shiloh event based on the 18th Illinois. We are requesting, but not requiring, a state jacket of some sort i.e. Illinois, Spaulding, Ohio, etc., an Enfield (those with Springfields, or smoothbores are accepted), and a forage cap. However, folks with only sack coats or frock coats are also welcome. Even though we are targeting an Illinois company we welcome participants from other states. We have a full size Sibley tent to stay in. Randy Jackson is going to be our captain and I will serve as orderly.
We are falling in with the Western Federal Blues. Registration is available on their website (westernfederalblues.org). Feel free to email Seth, or myself with any questions.

I know there is a lot of competition with the boat ride and the train ride...but if you are looking for a good campaigner minded company to fall in with, this is a great choice!

Tim, I tried the 18th Ill. proboard from work. I got as far as it wanting my registration number, or some such, which it said it would send me in an E-mail if I did not have one. Needless to say, I did not get any E-mail with this or any other number. So, I am still interested in joining the 18th at Shiloh, just keep me in touch with what I need to do, where to go, or how much I need to pay. Thank you sir,
Randy Gibbs

Randy, that's odd...I'm sorry about that. I will check into the board again today to see if I can find out something about it. You need to get registered through the Western Federal Blues website at: http://www.westernfederalblues.org/html/shiloh_2012.html
That should get your right to it...and again sorry about the board problems.

There is still time left folks to register for this fine event! So you've missed your chance for the train or the paddlewheeler? Don't get the 'blues' join up with THE BLUES and sign up with the Illinois Company!

Just a reminder to check out the Western Federal Blues page and sign on with the 18th Illinos. Knock the dust off the state jacket and rally 'round the flag once again!
