Each year the 28th Mass/B and 47th Virginia sponsor an event in Fredericksburg in December.

On October 26-28, 2007, the semi-immersion event 'After the Battle: Fredericksburg 2007' will be held at the Civil War Preservation Trust's (CWPT) Pierson farm/"slaughter pen" property, at the southern end of the battlefield. This event will more-or-less be a picket outpost-style event depicting the actual events on that property from the evening of December 13-14 to December 14-15, 1862. The event features opposing US and CS forces.

Tony:

The 144th is this year. They just got the web site up in November. No doubt, the 145th is so far off that it is not a thought at this time.

Here is the former discussion, if you meant 2006

Contact Eric Powell, he responds quickly and seems to be the ring leader. Good luck.
