Smith carbine in excellent condition, made by Pietta for Navy Arms. The bore is .512 inch. Conical .515 inch bullets work very well. This breech-loading carbine uses brass or hard rubber (actually plastic) cartridges, ignited by a standard musket percussion cap. Black powder only, of course. The carbine comes with:
• Leather sling
• 32 filled cartridges that can be used as blanks, or add a lubed bullet for live firing
• 50 unlubed hollow base conical bullets from Dixie Gun Works
• 100 lubed Hornady conical bullets
• 150 unfilled plastic cartridges
• 3 musket cap tins
• ‘Bore Snake’ for cleaning
• Nipple wrench
• Carbine cartridge box with a drilled wooden block
• Two belt pouches for loose cartridges
• Any other small, useful items I might find while getting all this together.
Dixie Gun Works is now selling the Smith for $875.00 - that’s for the carbine only. My price for all this is $800.00 including shipping and handling, or $775.00 if you come to Dundalk, MD to pick it up.
