Gents,
Just a reminder that on May 12-14, 2006, there will be a Federal Infantry
Camp of Instruction very much like the past COI's.

This Camp will be held at Fort Delaware, and we will have full use of the
barracks and kitchens, and the registration fee will include all meals for
the weekend. Since the event is at Fort Delaware, you must be at the Dock
by 8pm Friday night,as the Fort can only be reached by the Ferry. Late
arrivals will be brought over early Saturday Morning.

The web site is now active with registration forms and inforamtion at www.wmhf.org

Our primary impression will be Federal 1861, with Milita Uniforms (such as a
gray brethern might have) and civilian (not yet issued troops), or even
zouaves.

Have fun with the impression, and come planning on a fun weekend, with
authenticity workshops and tons of drill.

Officers will have a seperate session covering Evolutions of the Battalion
and Line, Papework, Outpost and Grand Guard, period Saber Dueling and Customs of Service, while
instructors work with the enlisted men through Skirmish Drill, School of the
Soldier, Bayonet Drill and School of the Company, with all participating in
School of the Battalion.

The event is open to the public, and they get to witness what a Federal Unit
would have went through in preparation for the conflict ahead.

I hope to see all of you there!

Pards,
