Friends,

US Pattern 1861 .58 Cartridge Box WITH Waxed Flesh US Sling
Completely handsewn, made by Jarnagin in about 2002. Has an outstanding "used" appearance, but has no major damage at all. Comes with tins, early style US box plate, early waxed flesh cartridge box strap, and eagle breastplate. Maker mark of "J.E. Thaxter, Portland, Me., 1862." $135 shipped.
CS "Generic" Cartridge Box WITH Waxed Flesh CS Sling
Completely handsewn, made by Missouri Boot and Shoe in about 2003. Likewise has an outstanding "used" appearance, but has no major damage. Does have some scratches on the outside flap, but those were acquired from use in the field. This one is unique in that Serio made the inner rainflap and the back belt loops out of waxed flesh leather for me. Lead finial and comes with tins and a cartridge box strap in like-new condition. $125 shipped.
US "Early War" Cap Pouch
All hand sewn, made by Jarnagin in about 2002. Features cone pick loop, inner wool, and has no rivets on the loops per earlier specimens. Maker mark of "H.A. Dingee." Used but in great shape. $45 shipped.
CS Shield Front Cap Pouch
Hand sewn, made by Missouri Boot and Shoe in about 2003. Features cone pick loop, inner wool, and lead finial. Used but in great shape. $35 shipped.
US "Early War" Waxed Flesh Belt with Plate and Standing Loop
Made by Don Smith of the Trans-Mississippi Depot in about 2002. In great shape but used. Plate is the earlier style with puppy paw back and the hook is under the 'U'. Features a standing loop sewn onto the end -- note that per original specimens, the plate does not easily slide through the loop. Goes from 31" to 37". $40 shipped.
CS Roller Buckle Belt
Made by Paul Braynard in about 2003 of waxed flesh leather. Goes from 35" to 44". Stamped "Braynard and Son Leather Works, Kinston, NC, 1861." $40 shipped.
US 2-Rivet Scabbard
Made by Don Smith of the Trans-Mississippi Depot in about 2002. Frog is made of blackened buff. My larger-ish Enfield repro bayonet fits in this just fine, so it should be good for any Enfield or Springfield bayonet. Great shape, no damage to frog or anything, and the tip is still secure. $65 shipped.
