Armies of Tennessee 150th Anniversary Events Announced!

The Armies of Tennessee has announced plans to host and co-host 150th Civil War Anniversary Reenactments of historical battles in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. These will be our 150th Anniversary events for 2012 and 2013. All are welcome to attend these events.

The 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Fort Donelson will be held near Erin, Tennessee on March 2nd through 4th, 2012. This event is hosted by Porter’s Battery, a member of the Armies of Tennessee. Click here for the website to the event. More information to come soon.

The 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Shiloh will be held in Mitchie, Tennessee on March 30th through April 1st, 2012. This event is hosted on the same grounds as the 138th, 140th, and 145th Battle of Shiloh, and hosted by the Armies of Tennessee. Click here for the website to the event.

The 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Corinth will be held in Farmington, Mississippi on September 14th through 16th, 2012. This event is hosted by the City of Farmington, Mississippi and the Armies of Tennessee. More information to come soon.

The 150th Anniversary of the Tullahoma Campaign will be held in Wartrace, Tennessee on May 31st to June 2nd, 2013. More information to come soon.

The 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Murfreesboro will be held near Murfreesboro, Tennessee on September 27th through 29th, 2013. More information to come soon.

Fred : Be advised that AOT will not be hosting the 150th Battle of Corinth in Farmington,Miss.on Sept.13-16,2012.The Farmington Heritage Committee and the Blue-Gray Alliance will be hosting the 150th Farmington & 150th Corinth on the same week-end on the same battlefieldon Sept.13-16,2012..
We have passed this information along to rick revel several time and he does not seem to understand that AOT will not be co-host in 2012.I hope this will finally clear this up.
