Not sure if this is the right place to put this but Has anyone dealt with Allens Laurel Hill sutlery? Just wondering what kind of quality and service.

He always seemed like a fine fellow to work with, but if your looking for quality reproductions, that's not where I would go. There are so many quality maker out there these days it's never been easier to get the accurate stuff.

I have to second Justin on that, I know a young man that got a frock and trousers only to be severely disappointed in the level of quality.

Compare what they offer to the originals. How many surviving Confederate enlisted jackets are made of wool? How many Atlanta depot jackets have been found with blue trim? What the @#%$ is a Columbia jacket?
