Conical pistol bullets.

I have been practicing at the range with my Remington .36 New Police and have noticed something strange. When I load the Buffalo bullet flat base forward, like a flat wad cutter, accuracy increases !?!?!?! Any idea why, and the hole in the target is not ragged!!!!

Cap'n, go register in CAS City here http://www.cascity.com/index2.shtml then go to the Darksider's Den and ask why this is happening.
