I have a CW period Enfield musket which I know very little about. It is the standard 3 band with brass furniture but has no markings on the lock plate. Overall condition is pretty rough to say the least. The bore is completely shot out if it ever did have rifling, although the outside of the barrel looks pretty good. Numerous dents in the stock and 150 years of crud cover the whole thing. Several screws are either missing or have been replaced with incorrect screws. The ram rod is missing. The trigger guard strap is broken where the middle screw goes thru it. The lock is intact and is operational. Proof marks are visable at the breech but I have no idea what they are. There are markings on the trigger guard but again I have no idea what they are. The stock is intact except for some rot around the rear of the lock plate and nipple. This is a candidate worth restoring or could probably be used as an original reenactment gun as it is. Looking to trade for a repro Remington revolver or offer....Located in South Eastern Pa.
