Hello All!

I am looking around to see if anyone has any .69 Smoothbore muskets for sale, either conversions, or 1842's, etc. I am also interested in 1855 rifle muskets. If anyone has any of these that they are interested in selling, please contact me via PM. Thanks!

Hi Tony,

It depends how authentic you want to go. A "C" grade weapon is the '42 .69 caliber Springfield sold by Loyalist Arms out of Canada. For $575 you get the musket, bayonet, scabbard, they might toss in the sling, and shipping. Anyway, google Loyalist Arms, Canada and they have what you're looking for.

Note, you better check your local laws.

Personally I've always admired the "Pumpkin Slingers" in the ranks. But a cold fact is they were sort of rare in the post-1864 battles. The best generic weapon is the '55 Springfield or the '53 Enfield. You can't go wrong.

Thanks for the reply. I have an Enfield currently, and wanted to get something for early war as well. Just seeing what's available and still out there. I will check out loyalist. Also, if anyone has used find they're looking to sell, I am interested.
