This is bodes well for the fight against Dominion Power's gas utility station that is proposed to be built next to Fox's Tavern. The tavern and South Mountain battlefield have been on the CWPT's 10 Most Endangered Civil War sites for two years now because of Dominion's plans to build this facility.

With the 150th anniversary of the Battle of South Mountain coming up next year, this is an excellent time to raise public awareness of the threat to this site and other Civil War battlefields.
