I went there in 2008 and it was a good time drilling and giving musket and cannon demonstrations. It was great actually sleeping at Kozlowski's Ranch!

hey BSB, Can you give us some more details about this event?

A few years back the NPS at Pecos stopped having this event on the original site, have they picked up again?
I notice that NONE of the Units that attended back then have been invited back and another Unit,(Union ONLY!), has taken over???? Who would we contact if we wished to attend?
I notice your web-site is for "Las Vegas, NM." . Is this event in Las vegas or is it at Pecos?

Hey TR,

Sorry it took so long to respond to your post; too much 21st century stuff going on. All I know, is that I went there with the 1st Colorado in 2008 and then they changed the date to sometime in June for 2009 and 2010. That didn't work for me. I just got back last night. I was the only one from Denver there. I fell in with the New Mexico Volunteers.

As for the site, I just found it. The event is at Pecos at Kozlowski's Ranch.

Well, I'll let you know now that the Las Golondrinas event is the weekend after Mothers Day this year.
