Attention,
We are recruiting good and able bodied men to serve in the 17th Michigan, Company E. Gen'l MacLellan himself called this regiment "The Stonewall Regiment" for their gallant charge and capture of a Confederate Brigade at the Battle of South Mountain.
Join us! We are located in Southeast Michigan, centered in the town of Plymouth, Michigan. The 17th is the oldest Michigan Civil War reenacment unit, founded in 1972. We meet at the Plymouth Historical Museum the 2nd Sunday of every month <Aug-May>. We are a family oriented unit with a Ladies Auxiliary. A few special impressions including President and Mrs. Lincoln.
