Just wondering if anyone was still in the market for a rifle. I have a 1853 enfield repro. made by middlesex village. The gun is mostly defarbed, the only thing left is to replace the bands on it with what the proper bands the 1853 would have. There is no modern markings, the proper period finish was put on it, courtesy of Michael Comer. The gun will come with a painted gun sack/cloth, a sling (which a tear needs reinforced, but will be in good working order after that), and slighty bent bayonet (which is not as pristine as a new, but still quite usable). The only other issues with this gun, is the nipple should be replaced(don't be fooled, it was hard to take off but it can be done, however the gun is in perfect firing order as is), the top band needs tightened so it won't slip, and when the barrel was reblued it had a gold line around the base of the sight that would not take the new bluing. I only list these things, because I want to disclose everything I think I would want to know if I were in your shoes. I am asking $357 with shipping, (this is parcel post, it will be $371 with priority). Shipping includes insurance and delivery confirmation. I will attach some pictures for you to look at my email squirelnutzipper7@hotmail.com. Let me Know if you might be interested. All sales will be final, and I only accept money orders
