ize 44 commutation jacket. Kit from Wambaugh, with a couple alterations.
Jacket is made of Hog brown (dark brown) with a green checked lining and black wool inner collar. 6 button front (6 1/2" coin buttons) with inner patch pocket and outer slash pocket. 3/8" black tape has been applied around the perimeter of the jacket and cuffs. I have seen photos of soldiers from texas, NC, and Georgia with similar trimmed jackets.
This would be a good "home made" or private purchase type jacket. a solid choice for the early 150ths coming up.
Jacket was done entirely by hand (90% by me, the collar was done by John Pagano and is closer to a richmond style collar than is seen in the pics on WWs website).
pics later tonite.
$180 shipped via USPS to your door with a tracking #.
