The 2nd Battalion, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Co. D, The Spalding Grays, is looking for new recruits, as well as, seasoned veterans to fill our ranks. The Spalding Grays was the first unit from Spalding County to be mustered into the Confederate Army. We have a place for everyone, and we will not discriminate against anyone on account of how young or old they are. We are still seeking new recruits for the 2007 season. We have grown over the past year to become our areas largest, and most active reenacting, and living history unit. We now also portray Co. H, of the 99th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and have a good impression of said unit.
