Friends,
After spending far too much money on gear, I need to sell off some of my other stuff. I am listing what I believe is a fair price. I will also accept trades for any gear. My main goal is to be rid of this stuff and get a little cash back! Please help me out!
My email is cwrematchr@earthlink.net if you’re interested in anything or you can PM me.
Thanks,
Jason

Nice red artillery kepi from Mercury Supply Company Sutler. I also used this for a Zouave impression. Label says it’s a Large. Black lining, functioning chinstrap, “CSA” buttons. Only worn one time and overall a very nice kepi. The wool is particularly fine. Bought for $29, will sell for $12

Brand new blue infantry hat cord. General sutler type. bought last year. $1

Two floral design poke sacks. Smaller one is 7 ½” x 4 ¾”, blue flowers w/ green leaves over a white background. Larger is 10 ½” x 7 ½”, white flowers on a blue background. Both bought off eBay, will sell together for $1

Bowie knife from Mercury Supply Company Sutler. Very nice and hardly used. I removed the button clasp and used a string of leather to make it much more authentic. Leather sheath. “INDIA” label removed. Bought for $25, will sell for $10

US Eagle Officer’s Belt Buckle Bought from shopcivilwar.com (Item 1624) a long time ago for $20, will sell for $5. Brass, not a three prong, has a loop clasp and a single prong.

Striped cotton socks bought from Timeless Stitches for a Wheat’s Tiger impression. Would fit around a size 10 shoe. $4

A red sleeping cap also bought from Timeless Stitches. Blue tassel. Fits a 7 1/8 perfectly but there’s room to give. $8

Mattress tick pantaloons for Wheat’s Tiger impression from Timeless Stitches. Size Large. Paid $60 will sell for $35.

A nice, machine sewn Richmond Type I shell jacket with lining. 8 “CSA” buttons on front, two “CSA” on both cuffs, and two Virginia buttons on epaulettes. Confederate gray. Size 36. Does have a breast pocket. White cotton lining on sleeves but homespun in body. Used one season. Bought this for $75, will sell for $38.

5-pound brown colour blanket. Some marker is evident but I can’t read the maker’s name. Light gray hatching near the bottom, like the Abe Thomas blankets. $20

Sky blue Federal trousers made by Steve Logan of Grand Old Army. This pair of trousers were probably one of the last things Steve made, or will ever make, before going off to Iraq. I am keeping the price a little higher than normal for this reason. These are constructed a little better than most mainstream sutlers. Mostly machine sewn with some hand sewing. Worn for two seasons. Pewter buttons. Size 36. I paid $65 for these, will sell for $45.

Richmond Type III uniform hand cut and hand sewn by Alexander Spaulding. Made out of Charlie Childs 3X jean cloth. Dark French blue trim on collar and side seams of trousers. Infantry block buttons. Cotton lined with a breast pocket. Never washed by either of us and used for a couple of seasons. Size 36-38. Paid $105, will sell as a whole for $85.

Sekela 7-rivet scabbard. Marked E.A. CROSSMAN & CO. NEWARK. Very well made as per the original. Brass tip. $40

Massachusetts Issue Haversack, same as the one listed in the Campaigner section of the Regimental Quartermaster http://www.regtqm.com/campaigner2.htm
$13

Period pipe made of meerschaum. Bought at a local antique store. Has been broken at the stem and at the bowl. Only use now would be for period trash. Comes with it’s original case, 1 hinge is gone so the two parts don’t hold together anymore. $3
