This is a follow-up post to the one I posted concerning my Federal items. I'm listing some Confederate items here. Since I have a lot of items to offer, including cap pouches and cartridge boxes, I will probably update this post with a photo album.

Background: I'm selling some of my infantry gear as I focus exclusively on medical and correspondent impressions. All prices are exclusive of shipping. For payment, I prefer Paypal but open to other methods. I'm also open to trades - I'm looking for officer/medical items. Also open to reasonable offers. If interested, you may send me a PM or email me at tmichael_3@yahoo.com.

Confederate NC Depot Shell Jacket (gray jean cloth) (size, approx. 40) and trousers (gray jean cloth) (size, approx. 34). I'm a size 40/34 and the garments fit me very well. Unknown maker but has some handsewn details, jacket is fully lined and both garments look well-made. Trousers have a few small spots/stains near the knees and jacket lining has some stains but both garments are otherwise in very good condition. Currently, it has Engineer buttons attached but I'm pretty sure I have some "I" buttons. Asking $140.00 for the set. Or, we can break it up.

Confederate NC Depot Shell Jacket w/ NC state buttons. Appears to be handsewn and well-made, and I'm told was hand-dyed. Fully lined. Unknown maker. Color is now gray-green. Size 40. Very good condition. Asking $120.00.

Confederate Mexican War Pattern knapsack: Unknown maker but appears well made w/ handstitching. Front shows some wear but the straps and interior are in excellent condition. Asking $125.00.

I also have a nice dark gray Confederate kepi, maker unknown. Size is approx. 6 5/8 to 6 3/4. Asking $20.00.

I will be glad to send you add'l photos of any/all these items.

Thanks,

Thomas Federico

A friendly bump and an update to the item descriptions, plus some add'l items:

CS Mexican War Pattern knapsack: Some asked about the fron of the knapsack. There is only minor cosmetic wear on the front; the normal wear one would expect from the straps rubbing the painted cloth. I will post photos later today.

I am also selling two cap pouches and two cartridge boxes. Will be glad to send add'l photos to anyone interested.

#1, A riveted Federal cap pouch - maker unknown, good condition, $10.00, plus shipping. See attached photo.

#2, A nice CS cap pouch, possibly older Jarnigan or other upper mainstream maker, good condition, $15.00, plus shipping. See attached photo.

#3, A nice .69 cartridge box w/ tins, painted canvas strap, uknown maker, possibly older Jarnigan but appears to be nicely made and stamped, good condition, $70, plus shipping. See attached photo.

#4, An 1864 pattern cartridge box (w/ rivet on front) w/ tins, leather strap, possibly older Jarnigan, appears to be nicely made and stamped, good condition, currently has NC brass plate on front. $55, plus shipping. See attached photo.

As mentioned, glad to send add'l photos upon request.

Thanks for looking,

Thomas
