I would like to know if anyone is familiar with this event. Is it worth driving 14 hours to get to?

Melissa

The Ladies Academy is annual event attended by ladies interested in the life of the 19th Century Lady. The ladies who attend are usually Civil War reenactors and/or Living Historians. The classes this year will be Draping and Making A Chemise and Drawers, How to Research, What Every Victorian Should Know, Filigree or Ribbons, 1st Person Laundress, Croquet, Sunday Morning Devotional and Round Table discussion. Credentials some instructors are State Park Interpreters, and the others are reenactors/living historians for at least 12 years. Most of the instructors are from Northeast Arkansas and are experienced in hosting schools of this nature.
