Take part in a one day workshop at the National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, PA (45 minutes east of Gettysburg) to learn about watches during the Civil War Period. During this workshop you will learn

- what models and types of watches were available
- how to properly identify those watches
- how to wear the watch (chains, fobs, etc.)
- where to buy watches of that type

You will also get the opportunity to examine period watches from the Museum and private collections. The workshop is taught by NAWCC School of Horology Director and Civil War reenactor Jim Michaels, a certified Master Watchmaker. Space is limited and advanced registration is required.

Ooooh! If only it wasn't so far away I'd be there in a heartbeat (either 16,000 or 18,000 per hour).
