Third New Hampshire Infantry

A new Federal Infantry impression unit is being formed in South Carolina, yes South Carolina.
This is a Call To Arms to defend the Heritage and Honor of our Ancestors both North and South.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for the War Between the States history. The 3rd NH will be a True Historical Unit impression of the unit that was stationed and fought in the war. This unit fought mainly in SC, but also FL, VA and NC. We have set uniform standards, camp and drill duties, 1st person impressions and civilian soldier ethics.
The 3rd NH will be presenting Living History events across South Carolina, participating in reenactments of both historical to the unit and practical to the history of the war. We will always be ready and willing to portray the soldier of the Union and in times galvanize as a soldier of the 22nd South Carolina Volunteers.
In all we want to have fun and make this hobby better so the public and our fellow reenactor will see the true side of history.

We are now members of the 2nd Reg't-Federal Volunteer Brigade.

We are actively looking for NEW Recruits who want to experience the life of a Civil War soldier. Young or old you are welcome to join us. We have extended the Free membership for a limited time. Plus we do now have a liability insurance policy in place, that is not free but very inexpensive.
