The North State Rifles is an organization dedicated to recreating the experience of North Carolina soldiers during the American Civil War. In order to accurately portray Confederate Tar Heels we conduct extensive historical research and seek to document North Carolina related artifacts; some of our work is included on this website. Additionally we have included photographs of our different impressions which reflect this research for different units and time periods during the war. We are always interested in having new members in our unit.
