This is a true size 7 3/8. It is made of 100%, 15 X Beaver fur. I had this hat custom made by the 3 time award winning Clearwater Hat Company. It took them 3 months to finish this hat for me. I wore it 2 times, gingerly. It comes with a 100 % silk red hat cord. The hat features are: coffee color, silk grosgrain ribbon on the brim, hand sewn period lining and tippet, flat brim with a crease in the center and sides of the top. Silk ribbon edged detail. Hand formed and made from original blocks in period style, the result of close study of original artifacts and period photographs. Clearwater Hat Company can adjust, taylor or clean this hat for you if you deem it necessary in the future. Believe me, you won't be sorry with this hat.
