Howdy folks, I have for sale two CW era quilts made by my wife that are for sale. Each price includes shipping in CONUS.
Quilt #1
This is a cot quilt made from a combination of 100% cotton broadcloth and homespun materials. The interior batting is made of cotton. The pattern comes from a website on historical quilts by Judy Anne Breneman.
http://www.patternsfromhistory.com/civil_war/cot_quilt.htm
All quilting, visible seams, and binding are done by hand. Quilt dimensions are 50 x 88 (4.2 x 7.3)
Asking $200 (includes shipping)
Quilt #2
This is a cot quilt made from a combination of 100% cotton broadcloth, homespun materials, and reproduction cloth scraps from Kiev Thomasons sutlery. The pattern is commonly known as a scrap quilt, and it consists of 5 squares of the materials listed above. The interior batting is made of cotton. It has ties instead of quilting. The ties are made from 100% wool yarn and have been suggested as an appropriate historical alternative to hand-quilting on the website by Judy Anne Breneman. http://www.patternsfromhistory.com/civil_war/cot_quilt.htm
All visible seams and binding are done by hand. Quilt dimensions are 50 x 78.5 (4.2 x 6.5) (This is slightly shorter than the normal cot quilt.)
Asking $125 (includes shipping)
PayPal or Money Orders only please. Please PM or send inquries to: Menion687@aol.com
The first 3 pics are of Quilt 1 and the last 2 pics are of Quilt 2
Thanks all
