This weekend, June 26 & 27 in Shippensburg, Pa. is the "March to Destiny". If you are in the area and want to check out a great event which takes place right on the town's main street, a street skirmish, confederate foraging of the town, where the actual towns shopkeeper's participate. Many other events, demostrations, living history, and an entire weekend itinerary of activities, vendors, sutlers. I believe registration is closed, however it is a charming small town who played a part in Lee's Gettysburg campaign as General Albert Jenkins (CS) made his push (Chambersburg, Shippensburg, Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Sporting Hill) towards Harrisburg just a few weeks and days prior to the Battle of Gettysburg.
