Yes, this is a genuine blast from the reenacting past:
Joe Covais made this back in the late 80's before he had to stop working his genuine magic.
This shirt is a British Issue item and was sold for those seeking something that represented the supply of Brit. manufactured items for use by American soldiers during the CW. At the time it was made it was was well ahead of the curve, as far as living history was concerned, and would foreshadow things to come as the current expertise in research was yet to come.
Very well made with machined stitches throughout and all hand-finished work to complete the masterpiece. Made of cotton with blue ticking like the originals. As mentioned all button holes are hand finished and complete with period milk-glass buttons.
