Multi-period Living History program. Calling all Civil War buffs & enthusiasts! Enjoy a living history display of Frontiersmen & Civil War Reenactors complete with muskets, period clothing, accoutrements, tools & equipment camped on Avalon's front lawn. Any group or individual wishing to join the encampment is welcome to participate at a reduced day fee rate. Just let the office know when you make your reservations. End the evening with a themed Buffet and DJ Dance to the tunes of "By Request Bill Santiff" If you know of outside groups or individuals who might be interested in joining our West Virginian encampment, let Leslie know via 304-947-5600 or leslie (at) avalon-resort.com Thanks !
